About the Press
"— Independent High-Fantasy News & Realm Reporting —"
We operate under a strict code of ethics: our reporting is 100% hand-crafted by actual living scribes. Under the sacred Oath of Dwarven Ink, no clockwork automatons or artificial runic text generators are permitted in our newsroom.
Our Editorial Creed
"To report the truth of the classic realms, to respect the reader's finite hours, and to keep the parchment clean of distracting spellcraft."
The Scribes & Editorial Council
WoW Forever News was founded and is independently operated by a husband-and-wife chronicler duo who have adventured together across Azeroth since the original 2004 Vanilla launch. Click any scribe below to inspect their full dossier, 20-year history, and published dispatches:

An enterprising dwarf engineer who brought the first mechanical, steam-powered printing press to the realm to churn out newspapers at high speed. He is loud, energetic, proud of modern dwarf ingenuity, and always smells like coal smoke and machine oil. Together with his wife and co-founder, Archmage Theron, they have braved Azeroth side-by-side since the dawn of the 2004 Vanilla launch.

A scholar of high standing within the magic academies, Archmage Theron spends her days monitoring magical fluxes, auditing spellbooks, and warning adventurers of impending mana instabilities. Together with her husband, Barnaby Ironpress, she has chronicled the mysteries and evolution of World of Warcraft since the very beginning in 2004.

The elder statesman of the pressroom. Olin has memorized every treaty, decree, and patch archive since the founding of Dun Morogh. While the steam engines roar and ink splatters across the floor, Olin sits calmly puffing on his pipe, checking every rune and syllabic footnote before a broadsheet is allowed into distribution.

Equal parts mechanical engineer and tavern brewmaster, Thorin keeps the massive cast-iron gears of the printing press spinning at top speed. If a piston jams, he hits it with a heavy wrench; if the scribes grow weary, he slams down another foaming flagon of his proprietary Pressman's Stout.

Gunder is responsible for hand-setting every single letter, numeral, and punctuation mark onto the cylindrical steam drums. Blessed with great dedication but questionable equilibrium, Gunder's daily battle against gravity is a legendary fixture of the newsroom floor.

Tasked with loading fresh rolls of parchment onto the steam-roller and running dispatches across Ironforge, young Bori has perfected the ancient dwarven art of sleeping through ear-splitting steam whistles and roaring boiler engines.
A curious and observant field correspondent based out of the Southshore tavern, Mira specializes in tracking down the strange, humorous, and heartwarming stories of everyday guild life.
Realm Classifieds & Notice Board
To keep WoW Forever News independent and distraction-free beyond voluntary reader donations, our scribes maintain an authentic in-universe Realm Notice Board. Guild leaders, master artisans, content creators, and realm partners publish text bulletins for guild recruitment, crafting services, addon tools, and community events without commercial banner clutter.
Classic Plus Resource & Guide Strategy
There are already dozens of comprehensive databases and guides for standard 2004 Classic WoW across the web. Rather than duplicating existing baseline guides, WoW Forever News focuses our registries and guide resources specifically on content that has changed, modified mechanics, rebalanced recipes, and brand-new Warcraft Forever additions. Once World of Warcraft: Forever officially releases, our scribes will publish dedicated, detailed guides focusing specifically on all new changes, rebalances, and realm updates.
External References & Database Citation Policy
To provide immediate utility to our readers when documenting patch notes, boss encounters, item drops, or crafting paths, WoW Forever News synthesizes information from official announcements and external dispatches into original reporting. We never copy long passages verbatim or utilize proprietary third-party screenshots without permission.
To ensure reader security, privacy, and editorial integrity, our journalists link exclusively to a strict list of vetted and trusted community reference databases: Wowhead, Icy Veins, and WoW-Professions. All external links open in a separate window and are designated with non-tracking reference tags (`rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"`). Primary source dispatches are clearly credited in the Primary Sources & Dispatches Cited block at the foot of each scroll. WoW Forever News is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or responsible for external third-party website content.
Editorial Transparency & Corrections Code
Accuracy and trust are the lifeblood of the press. If a published dispatch is found to contain a factual error or misstatement, the Chronicle **never quietly deletes or overwrites the mistake without notice**. Instead, an official Editorial Correction Bulletin is attached directly to the dispatch, logging the date of amendment and explaining the exact detail that was corrected for full historical transparency.
Legal Standpoint & Fair Use
WoW Forever News is an independent journalistic organization. All references to specific game patch notes, characters, items, and settings are made under nominative fair use. We are not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the official game publishers.
