Ironforged IRL LAN Party

Dwarf Guild Unites in the Real World to Level and Battle for Azeroth

hen the all-dwarf guild <Ironforged> rallies its shield wall, not even the boundary between Azeroth and the real world can keep the clan apart.

Guild leader Frugo—known across the realm and on his broadcast channel at MadeByFrugo on Twitch—brought his dwarven brethren together under one roof for an authentic, real-life LAN party. Gathering elbow-to-elbow in front of rows of glowing monitors, mountain clan battle gear, and provisions, the members of <Ironforged> tackled the leveling journey and took to the battlefields together in real time on the Roleplay-PvP realm.

Rock, Stone, and Real-World Brotherhood

Longtime readers of WoW Forever News will remember Frugo and <Ironforged> from their earliest exploits during closed beta testing. In our first tavern chat, Hearth of the Ironforged: Frugo Forever on Clan Unity, Battlegrounds & Mount Hyjal, Frugo laid out the core creed that governs his regiment:
"We are a guild of mighty clans, joining together as dwarves, to be stronger together!"
That creed was put into fiery practice during the iconic cross-continental trek chronicled in Give Them the Rock and Stone Lads: Ironforged Guild Marches from Ironforge to Hillsbrad for Friday Night PvP. There, Frugo spearheaded a resolute battalion marching on foot through Dun Morogh, Loch Modan, and the Wetlands into Hillsbrad Foothills, famously rallying the frontline against the Horde with the battle cry: "Give them the rock and stone, lads!" Their relentless campfire buff resets and coordinated ping tactics proved that disciplined roleplay and fierce open-world warfare are one and the same.

Now, that same dwarven camaraderie has transitioned seamlessly into the physical realm. Seeing guildmates coordinate pulls, trade crafted consumables, call out incoming ambushes, and celebrate level milestones while sitting shoulder-to-shoulder captures the quintessential magic of classic gaming.

Fueling the RP-PvP Spirit

The IRL gathering comes at an opportune moment for roleplay-PvP enthusiasts. After players rallied across beta marches and community discussions—demanding dedicated homes for world PvP regiments—the team secured the RP-PvP ruleset for launch. Seeing guilds like <Ironforged> invest in real-world LAN meetups demonstrates just how deeply rooted community bonds have become in WoW Forever.

From holding the icy passes of Dun Morogh to calling out battle orders side-by-side across a table packed with keyboards and cold pints, Frugo and <Ironforged> remind us all why community makes the world of Azeroth feel so alive. True dwarven brotherhood isn't just about sharing pixelated campfire buffs—it's about forging real-world memories with the folks standing by your side in the trenches.
