Sleeping Bags, Communal Campfires, and the Camping Renaissance in WoW Forever

The return of the beloved Cozy Sleeping Bag quest chain alongside the debut of the Camping System has transformed open-world leveling into a cozy, communal affair where every traveler benefits from pulling up a chair.
The Cozy Sleeping Bag operates with a straightforward resting mechanic:
• Item Cooldown: 1 Hour
• Resting Effect: Channeling in the sleeping bag awards a +1% experience buff every 60 seconds, stacking up to a 3% maximum bonus.
• Buff Duration: The 3% XP boost lasts for 2 full hours once fully charged.
Taking a quick three-minute nap out in the wilderness grants a 3% bonus experience buff that lasts for two hours. While a 3% bonus may seem modest on its own, it stacks directly alongside other leveling benefits—such as rested XP and cooking buffs.
For adventurers looking to embark on the journey, starting trail markers have been uncovered for both factions (note that on the current beta build, quest markers are visibly displayed on the map):
Alliance Starting Point: Westfall, Alexston Farmstead (`/way 37 50`), inspecting the Burned-Out Remains* among the cart wreckage.
Horde Starting Point: The Barrens, South of Camp Taurajo (`/way 46 74`), inspecting the Burned-Out Remains* inside the burnt tower rubble.
No party invitation is required. Any passerby can walk up to an active campfire, type `/sit`, and relax for 60 seconds to claim the campfire's associated 1-hour stat enhancements.
Note on Spell Exclusivity: Campsite stat bonuses are designed to offer solo adventurers and small parties accessible baseline buffs while leveling. Consequently, they do not stack with matching class blessings or auras (for example, Mining's Attack Power does not stack with a Paladin's Blessing of Might, and Enchanting's stat package does not stack with a Druid's Mark of the Wild).
• Basic Campfire Kit (Cooking 1): Enables basic cooking and supports up to 3 simultaneous profession additions.
• Journeyman Campfire Kit (Cooking 140): Supports up to 5 campsite fixtures and unlocks Cookie's Feast for group stamina nourishment.
• Expert Campfire Kit (Cooking 220): Supports up to 10 campsite fixtures for full raid-sized expeditions.
High-tier profession additions even install functional field workstations directly into the campsite. Blacksmiths can deploy portable Anvils and Master Forges, Alchemists can set up Alchemy Laboratories, Tailors can operate field Looms, and Herbalists can nurture Greenhouses to harvest flora over time.
Completing supply shipments awards Merchant's Favor, a dedicated currency used to purchase rare profession patterns.
