According to official developer updates shared in the WoW UI Discord, WoW: Forever shares Mainline WoW's UI architecture and incorporates the exact same modern API framework introduced in Patch 12.1.5 and Midnight. While Blizzard aims to protect the integrity of gameplay by restricting addons from having total automated control over combat decisions, players will enjoy broad freedom to customize unit frames, bag displays, and UI layouts.
Additionally, developers confirmed that Blizzard’s new built-in damage meter and cooldown manager will be fully integrated directly into the core game UI for WoW: Forever!
Following the success of the GDKP ban during Season of Discovery, Blizzard is maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against buying raid loot with gold in order to preserve real guild progression, curb real-money trading (RMT), and keep realm economies healthy and accessible to all adventurers.
Earned by clearing max-level dungeons and overcoming elite world bosses, Tarnished Undermine Reals will allow players to target specific pre-raid best-in-slot items, crafting materials, and catch-up gear without being purely at the mercy of unlucky dungeon loot drops.
