Bridge Over the Commons: Gillmore Blackbeard on Professions & Raids
On the central bridge connecting the Auction House and Bank in Ironforge, dwarf hunter Gillmore Blackbeard weighs in on profession progression, class feel, and Molten Core anticipation.
The stone bridge spanning the magma canal between the Ironforge Auction House and Bank is the beating heart of trade in Khaz Modan. Between shouts of buy orders and travelers sorting their vault spoils, I crossed paths with a level 15 dwarf hunter named Gillmore Blackbeard.
Leaning against the heavy stone railing with his musket across his back, Gillmore kindly stopped to share his candid thoughts on what brought him back to WoW Forever, how class balance is shaping up, and what end-game challenges he's looking forward to conquering.
⚔️ Question 1: What's Your Favorite Feature in WoW Forever That Brought You Back?
Barnaby Ironpress: "What's your favorite feature that WoW Forever has introduced that brought you back?"
Gillmore Blackbeard: "The emphasis on the importance and worth of spending time with professions..."
Gillmore Blackbeard: "...makes it a lot more fun to want to do professions and farm gear through that rather than just farming dungeons."
⚔️ Question 2: How Are You Enjoying Your Current Class, Any Favorite Changes?
Barnaby Ironpress: "How are you enjoying your current class, any favorite change to it?"
Gillmore Blackbeard: "Paladin is really fun cause it's a lot of damage and Ret feels decent. Rogue is fun but doesn't feel as powerful at least yet. Hunter is a true classic and a lot of fun right now."
⚔️ Question 3: What Raid Are You Most Excited For, Old or New?
Barnaby Ironpress: "Finally, what raid are you most excited for, old or new?"
Gillmore Blackbeard: "The new raid looks like a lot of fun but MC is true classic and very exciting."
